Daddy/Daughter Dance

The day we returned home from the hospital was also the night of the daddy/daughter dance at Addy's school. The girls were very excited about going since they had missed the one at church while Nathan was on a recruiting trip. Even though he hadn't slept much the night before and had spent the afternoon writing a Sunday school lesson and getting the oil changed, Nathan took the girls out for a night on the town.

The dance was at the Ranger's Baseball Stadium Hall of Fame, which, in itself, made the night extra special. The kids had a lot of fun dancing with dad. He's one of the few dad's that was actually comfortable busting a move on the dance floor. Since we do dance parties in the kitchen at home, the girls are used to dancing with dad, too, so they had a blast.

Here are a few pics (unfortunately, I couldn't convince Nathan to take the camera with him to get some at the dance!):

While Nathan and the girls were at the dance, I spent the evening loving on my still wheezy Isaiah. He was so sweet that night - we built block towers a gazillion times and laughed a lot. It was good for my heart after all he'd been through the previous 24 hours.
