As is tradition within the PBT family, we enjoyed a Good Friday brunch at Rondal and Janice Smith's house. The best part of this time of fellowship is the retelling of the Easter story through the use of the Resurrection eggs. Each child gets to choose an egg, open it and then share what that item represents. It was especially fun to see Jayden participate this year as this was the first year she felt comfortable sharing what the item inside the egg meant. The Resurrection eggs were very special to her this year - she played with them constantly, slept with them and even chose to take ours at home to show and tell one Friday during April.
Isaiah was also a huge fan of the eggs that morning - he kept trying to grab them from Scott, saying, "ball?" over and over. It was quite funny!
While the kids are telling the Easter story, some of the adults hide eggs outside. The kids each get to then go egg hunting. Here are a few pics from the morning:
