Pony Rides

In late March, two little girls from Jayden and Isaiah's class at school had a birthday party to celebrate their 5th and 2nd birthdays.  It was one of the most fun birthday parties we've ever been to - a petting zoo/pony ride party.  They had everything set up at their grandparents house, which has some beautiful land perfect for outdoor parties.

Addy immediately loved the pony rides, but Isaiah was very unsure at first (as was Jayden!)  This picture makes me laugh every single time.  Nathan only kept him on the pony for a minute and didn't try again later until he asked to ride.  It made for a priceless picture:)

Addy on her first of many rides.  She became a pro before the party was over.

Feeding the baby goats.  Jayden was very timid until the party was well underway - she's so much like her mom.

Pizza dinner and fun drinks . . .the little girl in the cowgirl hat is Jayden's best friend from school, Audrey Grace.

Watching the ponies and trying to decide if he wants to try again.

Jayden worked up the courage to ride.  I was SO proud of her.

Group pictures.

Our little Texan.

Take two . .

This picture cracks me up because this is what all three of my kids do when they are nervous (or used too - thankfully Addy has moved past that stage!)

It was a very fun party, although I have to say it's raised the bar on what defines a fun birthday party!  Hope my girls aren't disappointed come fall:)
