I love this time of year

This is one of my favorite times of year around the PBT Recruitment office. This year has been busier than ever as we, almost daily, are receiving applications from individuals wanting to serve as missionaries with our organization! One of my jobs is to handle all the filing of these applications and to handle some of the nitty gritty details of the acceptance process. It has been fun to watch God raising up some of the 200 missionaries we have been praying for . . .

The part of my job that I love most, though, is working with the internship program. This year is a transitional year for the internship coordination team. Nathan and I are taking over the planning of the program and I, specifically, am in charge of organizing most of the logistics. I love it! The closer May 31st comes, when the interns will arrive for training in Dallas, the more excited I get.

The challenge this year has been handling the new responsibilities on top of my old ones. I am essentially trying to do a full-time job in 3 mornings a week. With Jayden coming to the office with me, I'm not even getting maximum use of those mornings. I've been having to work a couple of late nights at the office in order to try and stay on top of things. We're working on getting me some more office time in the mornings because I really don't want evenings in the office to become a habit.
