Last Tuesday, my sweet Addy girl turned 4! Here she is all decked out in her new T-shirt and birthday button right before heading to school on her big day! We started the day with opening presents (she had dance class that night and so we decided to do the presents first thing so it wasn't rushed!!) and a big plate of waffles - her favorite! The shirt she's wearing in the picture was a special surprise. While we were shopping for dance shoes, she saw this shirt and absolutely fell in love with it. She went over to look at it several times, but not once did she ask for it. She just admired it. She was really surprised that mommy had bought it without her knowing it! She also has on her new, light up princess shoes from her Papa and Yaya Otte! We took the girls to McDonald's for lunch and Addy got to pick what she wanted for dinner too! As I said before, she ended the day with her new favorite activity - ballet and tap!

We got Addy a pair of princess roller skates!
Addy and her Dora cake at her party at Chuck E Cheese. We had 10 of her preschool friends there and they had a blast. My mom and step-dad, Bill, came into town for the occassion! It was so great to have them here.
I think this pic is hilarious. Addy has cake all over her face and Jayden looks confused! Maybe she was wondering where her cake was!
Bill and Addy had fun playing Maw Maw at air hockey. Once Addy got tired and moved to something else, mom and Bill played by themselves. I think Bill might have had just as much fun at Chuck E Cheese as Addy did!

Jayden also had a great time! This pic is a one from a series of pictures taken of her during the singing of the Birthday song! While Addy was burying her head in my shoulder from embarrassment at being the center of attention, Jayden was dancing, clapping and having a down right good time! Adorable!

Addy had Bill help her with opening the presents from family in Louisville. Here she is opening her very own Fancy Nancy doll. For those of you who aren't familiar with this series of books, they are about a little girl who loves being fancy and talk with big, "fancy" words. Addy loves them. Apparently she's not the only one because they've come out with a doll, dress-up clothes and a variety of accessories to go along with the books.
Me and Jayden after church last week. I didn't realize how long my hair was getting! I got it cut again on Wednesday - it was driving me crazy! Sorry - no pics yet of the shorter 'do!

Lindsey, you look adorable! I can't wait to see you... Sounds like Addy had a great birthday and party--I can't believe she's 4! Sadie has all of the Fancy Nancy books so far... (Her mom likes them for the "princess" factor and the excellent vocabulary!)
Happy Birthday to Addy! Lindsay, this is just a guess but I bet she is so much like you. And you look AMAZING by the way.
Linz, you look great! You look so thin and just adorable!
