Jayden is getting closer and closer to walking on her own, although she's still gaining confidence to let go of support for more than 5 to 10 seconds. She was very sick last weekend with a virus of some kind. It's so awful to have your baby glazed over with fever for 3 days. Since there is still the hanging question about her kidneys, we had to take her to the ER (her fever spiked at 6:00 pm on Friday) and have her urine checked for infection. Thankfully, she was in the clear. We are planning to do some more conclusive tests in November so we'll actually know if she has this birth defect or not. If not, we won't have to worry about it when she has a fever - and if so, we'll know to be even more diligent to watch for signs of infection. I'm so glad she is feeling better and is back to her happy, adventurous self!
Unlike the pools we went to growing up, pools in Texas stay open much later than the end of August! We've been enjoying going one or two afternoons a week. Jayden loves the water and thinks she knows how to swim!
While the remnants of the high winds of hurricane Ike swept through the Dallas area, we made the most of the evening with "dinner and a movie". 
Waiting for daddy to come home from work. Nathan is now on a recruiting trip in Arkansas for 3 days along with our president. We'll miss him, but are very excited the Lord opened the door for this opportunity.
We all thought it was hilarious the first time Addy put her headband on Jayden - but it was even more funny that Jayden kept it on for the entire evening. She now regularly sports her sister's headbands. Maybe she dreaming of the day she'll have a lot of hair:)
Addy started dance lessons a couple of weeks ago - ballet and tap. Isn't she precious?

Cute pictures... I can't believe how big Addy is... Hannah is sleeping on me right now like Addy did at your house in Lincoln... time goes so fast... I love the pics of Jayden too-what a sweetie! We can't wait to see you!!! Oh, by the way,... Oct 9th is my b-day so we'll probably be busy that night... are you speaking at any other churches close by?
I love the green dress that Jadyn has on in the first pic... My sister-in-law Cori really wanted that dress for my neice Emmy, but they only made it in smaller sizes. Glad to hear that Jadyn is feeling better!
