One day recently, Nathan picked Jayden up from school and she proudly showed him a picture she'd finished in class. In the last 6 months or so, her drawings have actually become recognizable, which has been pretty fun to see. Nathan saw the picture below and asked Jayden, "Who's the girl in your picture?" She said, "Oh, that's me!" He was concerned and asked, "Are you sad?" She smiled real big and said, "No, I'm happy!" He asked, "Well, why did you draw yourself with a frown?" She replied, "Because I don't know how to draw a happy face!"
We worked on drawing smiles that afternoon:)
